hi i recently put together a htpc running windows 7 32 bit and xbmc. it has a radeon 4200 and a 2.9 x3. for some reason i keep getting these weird distorted lines running across my screen that kind of look like confetti occuring along with this crackling and hissing noise. in order to get it to stop i have to either turn off my pc, put it into sleep and then wake it or change the refresh rate. i've tried refresh rates of 24hz and 59hz and 60hz but it still keeps happening and my tv is 60hz capable.

the htpc is connected to my sony reciever and then to my HDTV.

any idea's would be great. thanks.
