I built my HTPC over a year ago and it has been running strong. I use Vista64 with 4GB DDR3, Quad-Core AMD 2.93(?) Ghz CPU, etc. etc. I am also viewing and recording TV just fine with Media Center, but wouldn't mind a change with an upgrade.

Problem is, I am running a single tuner card, meaning I can only watch/record one channel at a time. I'd like to be able to record and watch at the same time, and need help deciding whether I should buy something like a Hauppauge 2250, or simply buy another tuner like what I have (seeing how I have no issues with it all) and just split my signal.

The tuner is a DIAMOND ATI TV Wonder HD 600 TVW600PCI PCI Interface. It was a cheap card at the time, just something to see if I had a good idea or if it was going to be a bust and turned into a family desktop. Now that I know the idea will run smoothly, it's time to make it better.
