I played a cd on the DVD player and usually it goes into the living room and bath but yesterday it only played in the living room. I thought it was equipment malfunction so I started pushing buttons and really messed it up. I found later that a wire was loose going into the wall since I had pulled the console out to paint the week prior. Now I have no sound.

So now I am trying to reset the receiver to factory defaults, I did reset it by pushing the surround buttons and the on switch which I believe eliminated the preset radio stations. I have search the internet far and wide and finally found this site and posted in the hope that someone might render some assistance.
