Wireless Surround Sound System interference

We purchased a Panasonic Home Theater Surround Sound System Model SC-PT875.

We connected it to our tv and tested the speakers. All worked. We then realised that one of the cables that we hadn't connected was too short to reach the tv. So we unconnected everything and move it up a shelf and reconnected everything. The light on the wireless system stayed red.

We have replaced the card and when that didn't work they replaced the whole system. Still doesn't work. I have been on to Panasonic twice. The second time they said to put the wireless system close to the player. Still didn't turn green until placed on top of he player.

They said that we have some sort of interference. On one side of our house is a school oval and the other a bush fire brigade. I tried the system in other rooms and it works. Yesterday we had the Bush Fire Brigade turn off their radios to see if that was the problem. No luck.

I have no neighbours behind my house. How do I find the source of the interference?
