I have a kdf46e3000, just replaced the bulb for th first time with an authorized XL-2500 lamp..however after replacing tv shuts off on it's own and the red standby light blinks 3 times. Each time I re-power on the tv the shutoffs happen faster and faster. I have taken out the lamp and reseated 5 times, I dusted out the chamber, I have tried opening and closing the lamp cover multiple times as I was told that was the issue. I looked inside the chamber to see if there was some sort of bent contact but there isn't. I have read that it is the power supply I just would like some confirmation as the replacement cost is somewhere around 400 and I would just buy a new tv. One new thing I have noticed is now when it shuts off the screen seems to be washed over in a reddish light before going dark. This is slowly driving me insane and I'm really shocked that after 4 years and with as little use as this tv has seen that replacing a bulb could possibly have blown the power supply..any advice is welcomed!!!!
