Hauppauge HD PVR Wont Capture Fullscreen

Hi
Ive just bought a Hauppauge HD PVR and I'm trying to capture xbox 360 footage in 480p (720x480). Problem is that when I preview it and capture it in total media extreme the footage is always stuck to the right side of the screen and leaves a gap between the footage and the left side of the screen???? So it's not fullscreen.
Any solutions?
