Distortion is in the form of straight lines accros the screen. This lines appears whenever there is fast movement or music with very hig bass in the movie such as dance. does dvd click support VOB files ?

DVD Flick accepts VOB files (when loading, change from 'all supported' to 'all files').

When you re-author with DVD Shrink, each segment you select is a new Title.
When played back (from a disk), there is a pause between these Titles as the laser moves to find it.

To get around that you either use the likes of VOB2MPG to merge the files into a large mpeg file, then use DVD Flick to create a new movie (In the Project settings under Video, check the box to 'copy mpeg2 files - this ensures that there is no re-encoding of the video).

The alternative is to load the first VOB file in DVD Flick, highlight it and 'Edit Title' > Video Sources' > 'Add' and select the next VOB to merge the video segments.

If the output from DVD Shrink plays ok on the PC and the saved output from DVD Flick plays ok, burn the disk and play that on the PC to test.

Neither program is known to produce the distortion you are seeing.
