Rip it to an ISO file

In VLC

Try Going to MEDIA>Open Folder
Then Choose the (Pirates 3) Video TS Folder

you will have to think about making an iso I think on a mac.. it's possible the vlc version doesn't support menu structures from a directory setup.. and disney disk rips are notorious for having messed up menu structures after ripping..

so make a dvd iso (dead simple.. just go about it like you are going to burn a dvd) but instead save the file.. you then have a couple of options.. either mount the iso somewhere.. /media/film or whatever has user level access (make mountpoint first) or use the open file option.. and it should work just like a real disk.
