On the video series Blue Planet there each episode is accompanied by a brief "making-of" special feature. These are listed as separate titles on the DVDs, but I would really rather my ripped versions have the special feature attached to the corresponding episode so both exist in the same file. How can I do this using DVDFab? If it is not possible to do with DVDFab, then are their any suggestions for other applications that will perform this task?

I can't think how to do it easily and retain the menu structure.

I'm actually not interested in keeping the menus. I'm planning on storing these for use with an XBMC box and I would prefer it if each episode and it's special feature appear as a single episode on XBMC.

Not familiar with XBMC.

One way is to use VOB2MPG in IFO mode to open the ripped files.
Check the titles you want and it will convert them to individual mpeg files.

If you are familiar with the command prompt, you can now use the 'copy' command to join the titles that you wish associated.
In the example below I joined Title 7 and Title 28 into a single new file.
Your XBMC thingy would have to be capable of handling single files of <4GB in size.

C:\Users\Superuser\Desktop\New_folder>copy /b title_7.mpg + Title_28.mpg new.mpg

Or you could use DVD Shrink to open the ripped files and use 'Re-author' mode to select both titles and save them to a new folder.
You could optionally 'shrink' the files to DVD-5 size or leave them uncompressed.
On playback of the new folder, the first title would play followed by a short pause before the second title started.

I tried pulling the two titles off as MKV files and then used the copy command. The resulting file was the size of the two put together, so Im pretty sure the concatenation part worked. When I tried playing the resulting file, only the first title played. What file format do I need to use to get the copy trick to work?

I also tried the copy trick with mp4 files, and the players stop at the end of the first title.
