Windows 7 and .vob files

I am ripping episodes of tv programs to .vob files. I use DVD Fab to convert from .vob to almost any other format. For the most part the process works fine, I am coming across some problems though. Some of the .vob files are not recognized by Windows 7 and therefore are not recognized by DVD Fab.

In the properties section of windows explorer, it lists the actual length of the problem videos as 0:00:00. The videos that will convert show the actual length (between 20 and 23 minutes).

Not sure what the problem could be. I would expect that they would all show 0 minutes of play time or all show the appropriate time. The file sizes are all appropriate and all about the same size, so the data is there, just not quite recognized.

Any ideas?

AFAIK, DVD Fab needs a VIDEO_TS folder or DVD disc of course, to rip from..There are other apps that will let you import and convert VOB's to "other format" ..Try AVIDemux, Xvid4PSP, etc..
