cpu led light help pls!!!

i have just bought a gaming pc
i have asus crosshair 3 motherboard
amd phenom 2 x4
ati radeon 6850hd
the pc works ok, but when i shut down the pc
the led light of this cpu starts blinking, when i turn the pc on again
it stops blinking and lights up, is this normal? do i have to worry about it?

you mean the light on the computer itself?if so then no.if its new i would be taking it back for warranty.

its the led light on the cpu when it will be on the pc it stays on(the light,
when i shut down the pc the light starts blinking, is this normal?
is it maybe a sleepmode thing

im using windows 7 ultimate
motherboard asus crosshair 3
amd phenom x4 cpu
i have chatted with a computer technician
he said that its a normal thing to do that
i also want to tell you that if i switch off the switch of the power supply
is that a bad thing to do for the pc?
because when i switch it off the led light goes off

is good to turn it off with a power bar as have seen computers shutdown by windows still supply power to wired optical mouses. have never come across a board that is doing what yours does with the blinking. are you certain it is not in sleep mode when it should be off?

i dont know how should i know how it will be in sleep mode?
i think what have i searched only the asus crosshair 3 do this blinking
and i always shut down my pc i never do it sleep mode
