Hi, is Intel i7-950 better than Intel Quad Core 2 Q9550? I dont really know if i7-950 is better because Quad Core 2 Q9550 cost more and have higher Cache... What's Better: Intel i7-950 or Intel Quad Core 2 Q9550?

yer comparing apples to oranges...i7 is newer technology, its needs a different mobo, RAM than the QC2. The Q9550 might have a higher clock rate and cost more, but the i7 does more work. Older hardware gets more expensive because of supply and demand, not because its faster or better.

Too bad LOL... I dont trust trading and stuff online... I have Intel i7-950(With Stock Cooler) with Evga GTS 450 and ASUS SaberTooth x58 and Kingston HyperX 1800Mhz 2x2 and Haf 912 and 1TB HDD 32MB Cache, And MSI DVD drive... It's a pretty fine build :D and is also in the of the line PC...
