DMS4 EZI PRO SE Installation issue with Disk Drive

So I finished my set up on my PS2 with the solderless chip and when I turned it back on, the Disk drive made clicking jamming noises. I cant flash the Bios this way and am wondering if I did something wrong. I havent used the PS2 in a good year and a half, so the drive issue may have popped up in that time!

Suggestions?

Is there a way to flash the Bios without a CD?

I doubt it, but you never know
