I installed a Duo3 Ultra into my ps2 v9, put it back together, and now I put the power plug back in and the light is red. When I hit either the reset button or the eject button it turns green for a few seconds, then turns back red. Does anyone know what causes this, if it's a specific point on the board? Or am I just screwed? either way I would like to know.

Thanks

I read somehwere that one of my connections were bridged on the bios chip. I redid all the soldering jobs and made sure it wasent but it was still borken. I just took it out and it works fine now. Gonna go with softmod. Hope you figure yours out.

That sucks, the only thing i can suggest is to get all the solder off where you soldered to, especially the IC legs. Use soldering braid if you have some.
