Found a chip in my PS2????

Hi i had to open up my playstaion 2 i got 4 weeks ago as my child put something that should not have been in there.

Well as i was poking around i noticed a chip that did not look like part of the installation with lots of wires coming out of it.

The only markings on it was NH7

Can someone tell me what this is please?

It is a cheap chip that only worked on 1, or maybe more model of PS2. I do not like them, they do not play imports well if they boot up. It is a modchip capable of playing burned games, either to pirate or to backup your originals.
