power button stays green after mod installation....plz help

I installed a modbo 4 chip in scph75004 ps2 slim.the 1ste time I powered it up and the red light came on.I pressed the power on button an the green light came on for about 5 seconds and then went back to red.I opened it up again and checked all the wires and saw the "3.3v" and the "GND" wires where mixed up.I resoldered it back to its correct positions and powered up again.Red light came on,pressed power button and I get a black screen and the green power button comes on.Now the problem is you can't switch it off again.I pressed power button but the green light stays on still displaying nothing on screen.

I checked and rechecked all the wiring for shorts but nothing.
Plzzzzz can you help me with that.

If you are 100% certain that all the wiring is perfect, then it can be a faulty chip, modbo chips are cheap matrix infinity replica's, at one point I remember finding that only 1 of the modbo 3 chips I purchased worked out of the 3 purchased. So my advise is to stay away from them.

Do you have a PAL or NTSC console, the PAL diagrams missed an important solder point on the MODBO 3 solder diagram, and I had to get this point from the genuine MATRIX diagram.
