ps1 backup on slim ?

i have tried everything before posting here Please
is there anyway to play backup ps1 games on a ps2 slim with flip top and swap magic coder 3.8 ?

i saw a vid on youtube showing cogswap , but his cogswap said psx game underneath the cd on the screen ...the elf file cogswap.elf that i have only recognizes ps2 games not psx

i there another way that might work ?

just put a regular psx game in the tray, when it hits the regular psx title screen, quickly swap it out with your backup.

thanks , i just got it to work kinda like that
i started ps2 with no game then i went to the browser then i put in org psx game then when it read it i swaped it with copied one
