I have the Free mcboot 1.8 exploit installed on my PS2 memcard.

1.Can I format a 4GB Cruzer flash drive so I can actually save and load games directly with my PS2? Using UlaunchELF to constantly transfer and store them is a bit tedious...

2.Is there anyway to get a faster USB interface on my PS2? I want to be able to run ps2 games through the USB ports, but I've heard that the performance will be terrible because of the 14MB/s limit. Maybe if it's possible to convert the S400 port to USB to utilize it's 400MB/s trasnfer rate...

3.If I use a SATA hardive by using an IDE convertor to connect to a network adaptor, will the hardrive still perform like a SATA (much faster loading) or will the IDE convertor slow it down?

4. What kind of hardware mods can PS2s have? I kinda want to replace the DVD drive with something modern (for better performance and lighter weight). But I'm guessing it's either not possible or overly complicated.
I would also like to know if there's any way to convert the memory card slots to USB for easier storage compatibility.
