Swap Disc Help!

For some reason whenever I try to play an import with my Swap Magic Disc, it's just a black screen. I'm using the Dvd Rom disc and my Ps2 is Scph-90001 and it has been modified. Can somebody tell me what might be the problem?

I would back the import disc up with Imgburn, then burn it a 4x and try loading again with Swap Magic.
It should work then.
