Anyway to run Snes station this way..?

okay..Sorry if this has been asked..I'm sure it has.
BUT..I have a playstation slim modded(if that word could be used with this way of 'modding' I have the ol' paper and taper over two sensors and tape over a little button thing...if i remember thats how it was done.
having the playstation slim like that i can perfectly play psx backups. just by the swapping a real psx(one i havn't made) disk and swapping it at the playstation screen. Works PERFECT. :'D how i love these old playstation games!
but now onto the point....Any possible way i could play snes or sega genesis games booting it this way..? 030 I've been googling just about everything..with no answers.(which is why i asked on here now)
or would i NEED swap magic to do so..?
also i've heard about people using mc boot on a memory card or flash drive to do the snes station. could that too be possible?

Hi
Yes you would need Swap Magic or fmcb 1.8 to be able to play with emulators etc.

Having the sensors blocked, just means you are fooling the PS2 that the lid is closed.
