I need some guidance or ideas... This is a way I found to load cheats on HDD games with a retail Codebreaker, but now it doesnt seem to work. Anyway, I used to use my retail CB v9.0. I would load the CB disc, start game, leave CB disc in tray, eject when screen went black, wait for the browser screen, then insert my PS1 trigger disc and start HDloader from my MC. Used to work perfectly, but now when my screen goes black, it just hangs when I eject. It doesnt return to the browser screen. I have tried using different PS2 games instead of the CB disc thinking it was a TOC problem or something, but nothing seems to work. Is it a problem with my PS2? Perhaps its just getting old and angry at me. Who knows. Anyway, any help you could offer would be great! Thanks in advance!
Have you added any new codes lately. If the codes are not correct, then that will sometimes screw up the Codebreaker.
When that happens to me, I just delete them and it works fine again.
You could just use a Codebreaker ELF that is patched for hddloader
You then need to rename your Hddloader elf file to CB_launch.elf and place it in the BOOT folder on mc0
Thanks, I will check on those things. Ive been trying to run Resident Evil 4. I ended up getting the codes from Gameshark and converting them with Omniconvert. Perhaps they converted wrong? Anyway, I will toy with it a little more and let you know, thanks again!
Yeah, just found that after I had been messing with conversions. Lots of good stuff on there. Whats the deal with CodeTwink anyway? Did they just give up? Anyway, I will see if that file works better. The method I used to use was correct wasnt it? It has been a while since I have done it, maybe I was forgetting something. I will be sure to let you know how it turns out. Thanks for all your help!

Not sure whats going on with Codetwink. I like Codemasters project anyway. Always good to check there for new games etc, or for added codes.
Here are all the Codebreaker NTSC Day 1 files - link
Alright, sorry its been a few days. Anyway, apparently the conversions were wrong, because when I used the day 1 files from the link, it works just like I remember. Thanks a million Smoky!
