I recently bought a swap magic 3.6 set and when I received it,(the 2nd time)..The first kept reading no data so I sent it back..now this time its reading data but not launching.The cd driver is working perfectly,So instead of sending it back and waiting 2 weeks I researched around the net..I loaded an mp3 player with noob package of free mc boot, ULE 4.40 and booted it with SM cd and then installed.It worked fine.I have a v7 slim ps2 by the way..However after literally days of research,patched isos with esr pro patcher,tried cogswap with no result,Im not happy with ESR...the games are choppy and sound is jarbled (on the 4 games ive tried)..I want to boot with swap magic(my backups)but cant find any help with that(or a better way with the exploit I have).If someone could please help out I would be so appreciative, Ive literally searched everywhere and all the forums here with great info,i guess just not in noob language like i need..thanks in advance ( I really tried hard searching before asking) :0

ESR should play your games just fine.

How did you burn your DVD game backups. What speed, brand and type of media -r or +r

You could use the SM 3.8 elf file with fmcb 1.8

But in order to use it, you must first have a High TOC game in the PS2

Start your PS2 with fmcb 1.8, then either have SM 3.8 configured in your Sony Browser or use uLe to launch the SM 3.8 elf

Once its launched, then swap as you normally would using SM

thanks smokyrain,sorry I was working out of town..I got SM 3.8 .ELF loaded on L1 of my controller,it goes to splash screen (ive been using Star Wars Battlefront 2 as my high toc disk is this ok?)but out of about 5 games,only 1 works and the graphics are choppy... by the way im using verbatim 16x dvd+r,Im writing at 8x with img burn..I appreciate any help you could throw my way
<EDIT>
Thanks alot for the help smokyrain,got it worked out...Found some verbatim 8x dvd-r's
at best buy...using SW Battlefront 2 (its 4.37 g) with SM 3.8 .ELF and my backups are working flawlessly.Im burning them at 6x because the only supported write speeds are 6 and 8,but working out none the less.Do you think if I used verbatim 16x dvd-r's (which also support 6x write speed)I would have same good result,because the only 8x discs I found were only in a 10 pack? thanks again for your time...much appreciate it

Even though I have latest DVD burners 22x speed. I still burn PS2 games at 4x on Verbatim DVD-r

With SM 3.8 or 3.6 I use GTA San Andreas as my HIgh TOC swap

I don't know the size of Star Wars Battlefront 2. Check in your pc, using My Computer for disc size of that game.
