I recently bought a Swap Magic, which in hindsight was a very bad idea when I hadn't read much on it past "play import games" and how to use. So, needless to say, I missed the fact that it does not boot Import PSX games.

I'm looking into buying a Breaker Pro, and I did read the sticky that mentions how to use it and everything, but I've also heard reviews of the Breaker Pro not working on PS2 at all, for any games. I'm not sure of this is misuse of the disc, but the use seems extremely simple when using like the swap magic, so perhaps I'm misunderstanding.

I have a SPCH-39001 Fat Playstation 2. I use a slide card, but will be getting a flip top as soon as I can afford it (slide card came packaged with the swap magic, so I figured it'd work for the time being).

Is there anything I should know before picking up the Breaker Pro? Is it as unreliable as I've heard?

Any comments from users that've used this method would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to avoid internal modding to play PSX games if at all possible.
