Hi, I read, and the best option to pirate the ps2 I think that it's this way:

Need:
CD
Pirated PS2
PS2
Memory card (you'll loose your savegames if you have them there)
USB Flash drive
uLaunch
McBoot

How to

You download uLaunch CD and you burn it into a cd at the slowest speed. It's a iso file that weights 600mb and is compressed into a zip file of about 4mb, you can find it here: http://sksapps.com/index.php?page=launchers.html

Download Free McBoot Noobie Package from here: http://sksapps.com/index.php?page=exploit.html and in your USB Flash drive save the content of McBoot (unzipped, of course).

Put the uLaunch disk in a pirated PS2 and launch filebrowser (normally with circle). Then find your connected USB Flash drive where you have your McBoot and inside the INSTALL folder open the program (it has a .elf termination).

A program will appear, click into the second option that says "Multi version install".

That's it! Your memory card is ready.

Now insert it in the unmodded PS2 and put also the USB Flash drive. Your console will look as always but now you have a new menu item called "uLaunch", that's it, with uLaunch you can launch whatever you want through its filebrowser, SMS (view videos), emulators, ...

What the hell is a pirated PS2? Did you steal the PS2?

It is called soft mod for the PS2. It does not affect/change your PS2 in any way, only the memory card, thereby allowing homebrew/playing backups of games you own etc on the PS2

There are already official tutorials made for this, in case of anyone new to the scene reading this, as you will need a way too launch uLe.

http://freemcboot.psx-scene.com/index.php

There is no need to make our own tutorials, when they are already done and hosted elsewhere.
That is why we link to them.

Not to knock you trying to make a guide, but please get all info right before posting such things.
