will it load all games or just most?
which version do i need to buy?
where is best place to buy it and flip top for v7 ps2?

I can only answer the first 2 questions.

will it load all games or just most? - Most. Others need special boot methods and/or patching.

which version do i need to buy? - I think 3.6 is best.
