I was trying since yesterday to load on my MC an exploit file to run games from USB.
I have a Fat PS2 V7 model, 2 official MCs, 1 Max Memory 32 MB, Xploder V5 Cheat System with Media Centre (it didn't come with the Xlink Cable) and a 16 GBKingston USB stick.
I read on this forum, on a few posts, about passing the exploit file with Xploder V5. I tried once and a million times unsuccessfully to make it works.
I followed all the steps about creating the file with Exploit Utility 5.1 . I used a pair of PS1 games to take the title.db, charged the Boot.elf file (used ver.4.42, the last version), passed ELF files (I loaded the files from the Noobie Package of FreeMCBoot), made exploit and passed it with Ps2 Save Builder 0.8 from *.xps to all the other kind of archives. Then loaded the Xploder V5, go to "Memory manager & Gamesaves" option and passing the file to my MC. Of course, previously I deleted the "Your system configuration" file.
The next it's supossed to happen, according to what I read on this forum topics, it's that the file changed its name to another and then go to the main menu, used the PS1 trigger disc (I suposse, the disc game I used to get the title.db) and then load it...but any of these thing not happened on my experience.
I also tried to change the file form its extension *.md or another to *.ps2 but it neither worked.
I hope anyone can help me to make this works. I don't wanna spend money yet if I have the possibility if this can work with the program I have.
