I bought Swap Magic 3 a few days ago at overstockdistributing.com.
So now I have Swap Magic 3.6 for DVDs and 3.8 Coder for CDs.
I blocked the sensors on my also new PS2, Version SCPH-90001.
I brought my german PAL games here to Canada.
The DVD Swap Magic Disc works fine, it loads until the screen:
Load Program and Video Mode (PAL, Normal, NTSC).
So now I can change the Swap Magic Disc and put in my german Import game.
Hit Load Program with the Video Mode set on NTSC.
It works so far, that I could play the game.
But my problem is that there is a black bar on top of the screen,
and the lower part is cut away, so I can't see what's on the lower screen.
I tried every Video Mode, in Normal and PAL there is the screen problem and the game is black and white,
in the NTSC Mode there is "only" the screen problem, but I can't play my Import game properly.
I also tried every screen format, 4:3, 16:9 and Full.
I hope you guys can find a solution for this problem.
If no one knows a solution for this problem
maybe with this.
As my original PAL games don't work even with Swap Magic,
I tried another option, making backups.
I followed this guide:

patch it - it says to select 48 as the Y-Fix,
but I don't really know where to put this ?!?
I just hit patch the file, and burn the new ISO file.
Use Swap Magic put in my backup, but it doesn't work.
One more thing, I used DVD-RW, could this be the reason?
