Hey, I just ordered this and it contains the following:
HD Loader 3.5, HD Loader 7c, Swap Magic 3.6+, HD Advance 3.0, USB Extreme / Advance, COG Swap Loader, PS2 Loader, Magic Mem, Zone Free DVD 2005, HDDump 0.8.1, CDLoader, and FTP SERVER. I know what about half of this is and the rest just plain confuses me!
I tried searching the AD forums and a general Google search and could not find ANY clear mentioning of these programs:
Magic Mem, COG Swap Loader, CDLoader, or PS2Loader. Now, The others I know what they are either from tutorials or the name is a dead giveaway, and I read a mentioning of COG Swap, but only as a possible option with a link to a defunct site.
If there's anyone who can tell me what these bits of software are intended for/capable of (I realize that PS2Loader's name is kinda obvious, but a little more info would be nice), I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, I now know what CDLoader is for, specifically. The rest are still a mystery, though.

Okay, CogSwap was given a VERY brief description in the ELF list on Exploitstation, so I'm assuming it has next to no other functionality. Magic Mem takes you into a browser of the PS2 mem card...and that's about it. I'm sure it'll let you copy files and stuff, but I wasn't able to spend more than a few moments on it. Anyone else have experience with it?

Cogswap is a lot like swap Magic, just lets you load games, whether they be CD or DVD
I have the instructions if you want them, Cdloader is basically the same.
HD Loader 3.5, HD Loader 7c,HD Advance 3.0 - for use with an IDE hdd, lets you load games
USB Extreme / Advance - lets you load games from a USB hdd that has been formatted as FAT32 and installed with the USBEXtreme utility for the pc
There are newer methods used now
PS2 Loader - I believe this would allow you to launch other ELF applications
Magic Mem - a PS2 memory card manager, probably similar to Armax memory manager
Zone Free DVD 2005 - allow you to play DVD's from other regions
HDDump 0.8.1 - to use over the Network to copy games to your IDE hdd from your pc
FTP SERVER - allows you to connect to your pc using an FTP client
sksapps does have a lot of tutorials on how to most of that stuff, like connecting to the PS2 from your pc etc.
Or you could just test each one and see what it does.

No word on Magic Mem on sksapps. I wonder, would one be able to copy ELFs from a jump drive onto a memory card? If so, then that'd be pretty cool.

You would have to plug in a USB drive and see if it recognizes it.
If yes, then I would think you should be able to copy from it.
The only thing is I am not sure what formats it would take as I don't know the commands it has.
Say for example... Armax memory manager has .max files and you uncrush them to memory card.
You would just have to test it out, then use uLe to see if it copied it correctly, as uLe will allow you to copy game saves to your memory card from USB drive.

Oh sorry, I just reread and you were talking about copying ELF files to the memory card
No that doesn't work that way
The only way to install ELF files to memory card is use uLe, or install fmcb 1.8 to your memory card.
