Well, I have an HDTV. Composite cables for my PS2 and what not. The games look pretty good. I know some games that have progressive scan require you to press triangle and X to activate the progressive scan.
However, when using a swap magic disc, it books past the PS2 logo which is when you should be pressing Triangle and X. I do hold that down, but my TV still says is 480i. On the games that do not allow you to activate it through the game menu, can I do it with a swap magic disc? Will it like, transfer over or something?

Or should I hold down triangle and X right after I launch the game from Swap Magic and see if that works? I'll be fine if I can't activate. Some games look a little bad (Final Fantasy XII), but most of my games look pretty dang good. So is there a way to activate progressive scan on a game without the option in the menu via a Swap Magic disc?

Thank you! :D
