ARMax won't stop spinning

I have a Slimline PS2, model scph-77001. It's been modded using Magic Switch Pro.
When I insert the ARMax disk, it won't stop spinning when it asks for the game or DVD.
I use Swap Magic to play burned games.
My ARMax is a newer version, without the media player.
Is there a tutorial for getting the disk to stop so that I can switch it out?
