i have started a collection ps2 games and ps1 games that are backups i live in Australia and just a second ago i realized that i was getting the SLUS and NTSC-U versions of the games, ill be playing them on a Ps2 PAL console and a PAL/SECAM/NT433 suported tv. will i still be able to play these games or will i need to get the (E)/PAL version of them instead.

thanks for any help im am really confused and need to know whats what.

am i right or wrong about the (E) standing for PAL.

i use to play ntsc games on a pal ps-1 unless you have it modded they will come out in black and white ( i use to use swap trick on ps1 games on friends ps-1).most will come out in colour on an ntsc capable tv.I know for a fact on a modded slim ps2(pal) american & chinese games work fine (sister got dance dance revolutions games from us,brother got a pile of games while on holiday in china).aslong as you got a modchip in your pal ps2 all games should work fine.

personally i'd recommend getting pal games but all the games should work fine.

thanks all i need to find out now is whether the site i use lists "U" as US/NTSC and the "E" for Europe/PAL format.
