hi all,i need help ,i have a problem ive recently discovered.some of my cds/dvds r being eaten or scratched by an unknown microscopic creatures {mostly found n chickens,roosters} any idea on how to get rid with ths?what should i do,except burning or makin backups,pls help me guys,thanks

first thing to do is a positive identification of the mites .. you need to know exactly what they are.

get rid of the mites .. before they chow down on you .. bird mites are very unpleasant.. you will have a source of infestation which needs to be found and removed first.. look in loft spaces etc for abandoned nests or mouse bedding.. things like that .. then it's best to call in the fumigators.

odd that they are eating your disks tho .. wouldn't think there was anything tasty contained in the mix of plastics used.

good day to u my friend.,i wonder if u guys encountered this.i tried shampooing my precious games cds using my barehands to avoid scratches.cleaned all my storage including my room.im not sure if this is the right thing to do,but nothing change i cant believe that there are creatures so small like this,smaller than - 1mm i think.i told my friend about this matter but no one believes what im saying,they cant see em with their naked eyes,but if u look closely yuoll notice that a dust/dot-like something is moving very-slowly ,almost half of my cd/dvd games has been infested,so sad almost 4 of them cant play anymore.im really mad about this creatures
