Problem with game music

Okay, when I burn my .bin/.cue to a cd-r the music during the FMVs doesn't work. The music works on my original copy, and the ripped ISO works fine on ePSXe, it's just on my Verbatim cd-r that I have issues.


Anyone able to shed some light on this?

Could be the speed your burned it at,or an issue with your burner or the program used to burn or your could try cleaning your laser.

Burned with Alcohol at 4x speed.

My ps1 laser is fine. This problem has never happened before, both the music and sound vanish during FMVs, and I have no idea why.

Ok that is too slow for PS1 games or any CD based backup.

Try 16x first, if not then try 24x.. See if that helps or not.

Nope. Still not getting audio during FMVs.

It also seems like some of the character voices aren't playing either...

Do other PS1 backups give you the same issue. Try another and see.
