Is it possible to boot them from it?, have a 2gig stick just laying around i used to softmod my ps2. If you can't, what's the best way to boot PS1 backups with FMCB?. Looked through some stuff like cog swap, but id rather not always want to swap when i decide to play.

Unfortunately you can't run ps1 backups from usb/hdd at the moment, the only way to run them is via swapping (softmod) or with a modchip
