ok so i have been looking around for a way to play back-up psx games on my ps2. i'm using the swap trick, without swap magic or any mods. i burn the back-up and swap it when needed, but it wont load past the psx logo. idk if i'm not burning it right or if i missed a step somewhere. i looked online for hours now but cant find answers. please reply with a step by step if it works for you. my disc 2 ff7 is too scratched to play and my son fell in love with disc one, like we all have before
also i used dvd decrypter and alchol 120%. CD-R and followed instructions. do i need .iso, .cue, or .bin? btw i have never done anything like this so go easy on me lol
i think that's a v7 and that is why but you could do some checks to make sure of the version.
If u could get a slim ps2 (8b or less) u could play ur psx backups with FMCB.
