ISO problem.

hey i am confused.
so i got some rar file? extracted to iso file.
i burned it from mac. not microsoft.
but its kinda the samething rite? jst burning into dvd+r?
so i did that and i inserted in the dvd+r into xbox.
it didnt work...;;;
so i turned it on without dvd. then i went to app.
the dvd2xbox app.
rite then i inserted the dvd+r with file burned in it.
i moved the file into some folder.
i went bak to main menu.
i see the game installed.
pressed start. but it goes "NOW LOADING"
but nothin happens. jst black screen.....
wat do i do???
do i jst put rar file and transfer that into xbox?
plz help me..
