hello

i'm a theatre practioner and am currently working with film and animation on a new project. A dvd has been finished with regards to th efootage content and i have been running it from my laptop onto a projector. This has produced the correct image size on the projector screen, equivalent to what i see on the laptop screen. The image ratio that was created through final cut etc is 4:3. When the show goes up i want to be running this from a dvd player onto a panasonic pt-D5700 projector. As a test i recently played it out of 2 different dvd players via my current projector (benq mp771) and 2 diffent TVs. In both cases the image size produced has been trimmed on all edges. It is basically slightly smaller that what i see on my laptop and therefore smaller than the original image size.

Is there a way around this? are there dvd players that can alter the image size output?

any help on this matter would be appreciated.

cheers

tony
