1. Y went into DVD shrink (which I have had on my computer for perhaps three yrs or so) and changed the custom target size setting to 4350. will this keep burnt dvds from pixelating near the end of a movie, a problem I have from time to time?
2. I have a dvd that I ripped onto my hard drive but it is 7.72g large and obviously too big to burn onto one dvd. is there a special way to burn one half and then the other, making sure the stereo sound is intact, etc? Its a concert and would rather burn it and watch on a big screen rather than on my computer.
2. Started to try it, but somehow I wasn't doing the right thing; after I highlighted about 4000 mb and then clicked on 'backup' it said that I already have files that I needed to delete first. Not wanting to delete anything until I knew what I was doing, I cancelled the operation. Would you mind taking me through it, step by step? Thanks
Hey, thanks a lot for that tip. Through trial and error, I figured it out and was able to burn the first half of the total amount of files. However, a problem: I played it on my dvd player/surround system and about 40 minutes into the concert (or the first half of what I burned), it started pixelating and continued doing so worse and worse until it was totally unwatchable. Testing it on my computer, it was perfect. So...is there an issue with the dvd player perhaps? (It's always something!) Continued help is appreciated!
One additional comment...the discs play beautifully on the dvd player upstairs - a cheaper one bought a k-Mart. So maybe the one that's part of my surround system (Panasonic-$399) is crap? Solution: buy another cheap dvd player and hook it up to the surround system and use THAT ONE instead? Ah, ain't life grand?
