I have a blue ray movie that I would like to put on a dvd-r is that possible. I have any dvd shrink and nero that I have been using to burn DVD's.

Do I do it the same way or how would I go about doing so?

Thanks for the help!

DVD Shrink is a great tool for standard DVD, but it does not work with BD movies. AnyDVD is a perfect ripper as long as you have the HD version. I think you may download a 30 day trial of it at slysoft.com.

Another free ripping program is DVDFab HD Decrypter. You may download it here: http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm

After the movie is ripped refer to the BD Rebuilder Thread. http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/157
