Does anyone know how to:
Use DVD Shrink to compact the file to a single layer DVD, and remove any ads, extras etc to improve quality.
The file which i want to put on to dvd is a image file and is around 7.gb

1 Top menu, 'File' > 'Open Disc Image'.
2 'Re-Author'
3 Drag 'Title 1' from the right pane to the left and click 'Backup'.
This assumes that you have set the output size using 'Edit' > 'preferences' from the top menu.

DVD-5 is a Single Layer disc that fill 4.38GB of Data info, not 4.7GB like the label claim.....
On Shrink, you need to "Re-autor" and select "Movie Only" by dobble clicking "Tile 1" This will reduce the Data size, improve quality and also make a File big enought to burn it on a DVD-5.
Some of latest Movies (Movie Only) usually are coming with a Space Data bigger that the 4.38GB. To Burn them, sometimes you need to ignore that and try to burn the new blank disc again anyway.....
......and some times you need to re-set your compression setting from "Automatic" to "Custom Ratio" by holding and draging your 100% bar form right to left decreasing your compression ratio, just a little less that the 4.38GB or until you can see the end of your "Gree-top-bar" and "Backup!" your "Tile" keeping your Good quiality on good shape.

I would like to add:
If you like to keep your compression settings on Automatic; You could eliminate all the strips audio, subtitles tracks and subpicture streams by unchecking them, EXCEPT the "English AC3 5.1 Audio Track" to gain a Automatic Compression Space and keep the percentage as high as possible with out loss quality on your final backup copy.
P.S. If the Top-Green Bar on the right turn GREY and the size is less that 4,464 MB you are procesing a DVD-5.....
.....But if the top-Green Bar on the right turn RED it means that the Movie won't fit on a DVD-5 blank Disc. Then you need to adjust the Compression Settings manually.

What Movie are you try to back-up ?
It seams that you are chossing the wrong "Title Angle" (Title 2), since your Audio Stream is LPCM 2-ch English
.......Unless is that one what you want, so then on "Compression Settings" click on "Automatic" down arrow and a small window will open; choose "Custom Ratio" or manual, then slice tha 100% bar from the right to the left by clicking and holding the little square key that is on the right of the same bar to adjust your "Ratio" manually !
For more info go to "Guides" of this web-site and scroll down to the section "Copy DVD to DVDR" and click "Copy entire DVD-9 movie to a single DVDR using DVD Shrink" (3 pages).

P.S. I would like to add:
LPCM Audio Streams (yours is LPCM 2-ch English) are a non-compressed audio format and it as a huge bitrate up to 6.144MG/s so this could be your main problem.

I agree.
If no other audio is available and since the audio won't compress and compressing the video (two hours running time) might not be do-able - I would be inclined to demux the movie with PGCDemux;use Audacity or similar to convert the audio to AC3, then use Muxman to create a new DVD.

Title 2 is the main movie, the others are adverts and menu's.

OK......since your Main Movie is the "Title 2" and is a torrent file......you may also have the option to back-it-up on a dobble layer discs, maybe or not even !?
Torrets Files are a very small files download from web-sites like eDonkey.net or movietorrets.org with a track number and a textual data about the file itself ("seeds" for people shering the files).
Good luck on try to using Shrink a 2004 program to get the job done.
I would be inclined to use other programs for that !!!

I will finally add:
Torrents Files are a very small files very fast to download but with a big weight Info; where the "Seeder-Leecher" relationship on file shering, are almost instant tracking by the network where the file originate.

sajjan1.
I think you need to go to a diff forum on this web-site, where all they do is talking about Torren's, Bit Torrent, Bit Comet etc.
Down scroll on forums to:
Software, Operation Systems and more > windows-P2P Sofware.
also you can try: ConvertXtoDVD and read the Guide, how to used !
Good Luck
