Burning from DVD Shrink

DVD Shrink has always gone to Nero Burning to automatically burn DVD's. But when I lost my files, I didn't have a backup copy of the correct version of Nero. I purchased a newer version and it isn't being recognized by DVD Shrink. Or since I also have ImgBurn, how can I set DVD Shrink to recognize it?

I thought dvd shrink was burning my dvd after shrinking it. It's description in reviews says it is not capable of doing this. I guess I had another program setup to do the burning and did not know it because now after it is saved to the hard drive it no longer starts the burn proccess. Am I right that dvd shrink is not capable of burning or do I have a newer version that can burn but is acting funny for some reason? I am confussed.

Dvd shrink has not been updated since about 2004....nor will it ever be updated. Any newer version of dvd shrink is a scam.

That's why you need Nero or ImgBurn to burn the files after they are shrunk by DVDshrink. Check the vbot's message for what you need.

Ok, thank you both for your quick response. Here is what I did last night though. I uninstalled dvd shrink and reinstalled it, now it is back to what I remember as normal. When I click on the back up icon it brings up a small window showing me the progress of the burn process. I do have Nero installed and maybe it is auto detecting this and burning with Nero. I am definatly not telling it use Nero. I don't know why it stopped working, but all I care is that it's back to normal.
