I use dvd shrink and dvd decrypter and they both work fine but they don't take the copy right of some movies.. I tried to use ideal dvd copy on a new columbia pictures and a new touchstone and it shrinks it fine but when I go to burn the movie my computer freezes halfway through... I am very new at this and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.I hope someone can help me.. Thanks Caper245

Did you meet the same issue when burning other DVDs?
Maybe it's a burning issue or the copied files has some issue. I suggest you first shrink the DVD to your hard drive, playback the video_ts.ifo file to check if the files are right. If they are OK, then it should be a burning issue. Burning issue is a complex question, it depends on your burner, the media and software as well. Usually slowing down the burning speed, changing another brand media or updating the firmware of your burner may solve this issue. But you'd better contact Ideal DVD Copy support team for exact instructions.

DVDFAB HD Decrpyter if you want a free ripper it can burn also, shrink hasn't been updated in years, dvd decrypter's burning engine has been replaced with imgburn

Use a DVD-RW for testing until you get issue sorted,it'll save making coasters
