I have used DVD Shrink in the pass to backup my DVD's and in my case I used the backup to watch and keep the originals in new condition.

I want to be able to have a library of my movies on a exteral hard drive so I can take it with me and use with my laptop or my Ipad.

Can I convert what my backups have to a avi format, id it possible to take the Video_TS folder and somehow convert that to a avi file????

Download AutoMKV, it can convert dvds to different formats such as avi
