After dvd shrink finishes analizing and prepares to go to DVD DECRYPTER my computer restarts. What could be the cause for this? It just stated doing this. I haven't added or made any changes to my computer.

Open the case of the PC and check to make sure all cooling fans are running and that there isn't a bunch of dust gathering everywhere, especially where components need to be kept cool because it's possible that something may be overheating during the backup process and causes the PC to restart. Make sure everything is clean and there is plenty of airflow within the case.

If it's a laptop, the same holds true, make sure the fan is running, blow some air in the open areas to remove any obstructions, also consider getting a cooling platform for the PC.

It could be an encryption problem, try taking a different approach.

use DVDFab HD (free) to rip/decrypt with.

Then open image file or/import the Video_TS.ifo files with dvdshrink and proceed as you normally would.

Or if you just want to use shrink, then....

You can try using shrink with DVDFab Passkey(free) to increase the chances of a successful backup, install and then use shrink.
