I have Windows 7 64 bit OS. DVD Shrink Vsn 3.2.0.15.
Using DVD Shrink I have saved & shrunk 2 separate movies from 2 separate DVD disks onto 2 separate files on my hard drive.
I desire to merge both files onto a new single file on my hard drive.
I have attempted to do so by:
Using DVD Shrink, opening one file, then using re author, move the file from the
right pane to the left pane of DVD Shrink.
Unfortunately, staying in the reauthor mode, I am not able to access the second file using the DVD BROWSE button on the right pane side to access the second desired file on the hard drive when in the reauthor mode.
Is it possible to access a second file using DVD Shrink?
I understand and successfully burned a file shrunk with DVD Shrink onto a DVD disk using IMG Burn, but would like to burn two files onto a single disk.
Which won't show any ISO files which is probably what he meant by saying "2 separate files". Open the first ISO, select re-author and drag over the wanted title. Then switch to full disc and open the second ISO, select re-author and drag over the new title. The first title will still be there in the left pane.
Well you resolved a problem I've been trying to solve for some time now. I've been trying to put 4 favorite TV shows from 4 different discs onto one disc.
I have most of my favorite TV episodes individually saved on an external hard drive. Each copied with DVD FAB Decrypter as a main movie. I wanted to get 4 of the favorites to one disc for when I travel and to play on my portable DVD player. I did that but with only one minor problem. I don't have any menus. No problem though. I just fast forward the chapters to the episode I want to watch. It only takes a few seconds to do that. Thanks for that information on using DVD Shrink.
It can be done using DVD Shrink. Just no menus. Here's what I did.
I went to Re-Author from the get go.
I selected an episode I wanted. Clicking all the way to Video_TS.
Then dragging it over to the left side. It was then listed as "Title 1" since it was like all the episodes I have copied as "Main Movie".
I selected another episode and did the same thing. (All the episodes are listed as "Title 1" )
On the left side it was listed as "Title 1 (2)" I did that for 4 episodes. On the left side they were listed as:
"Title 1"
"Title 1 (2)"
"Title 1 (3)"
"Title 1 (4)"
When I had all 4 Titles (you will have 2 - your movies.) on the left side just hit "Back-up". Then put it onto disc with DVD Dycrpter or whatever. Hope that helps.
Well, that's exactly how reauthoring works. However, PgcEdit has a plugin called "DVDShrink Remote Buttons" which lets you skip between eps by pressing TITLE on your remote. No need for fast forwarding.
