VLC always works for me for say 3 weeks and then it goes down and wont even play anything till I re install it.????????????????

I have never heard of that problem I have used VLC for some time now and i haven't had any problem with it.. Let us know what your trying to play then we may sort the problem you are having with the software

thanks but can you give me a direct link to the Download file I went to the web site and it just is moving slow for me and the site is Gerking around with my Mouse.

And can this program do a good job did you try it?

the above link is the direct one all you do is click the download button and the download will start

No I do not want a link to VLC I am useing Media Player Clasic Home with the K Lit pack and works great.

I just can't seem to rip or copy the Simpsons one show from the DVD I have.

DVD Shrink works but the audio is very very Low.
And VLC never will rip or convert any of my DVDs.
I have tryed VLC for One Year and used there Forums and they can't help.

What other program if any will let me take just one show from my DVD not the whola DVD?????
