Hello -
I love reading your threads and hope one of you can help me. I am new to burning and installed the latest version of DVD shrink (3.2). However, it does not recognize my Nero Burn Lite software (the latest free version of Nero)- I get the usual blue message in the dialog box that says please install nero when nero is already installed. I uninstalled Roxio. I uninstalled and reinstalled Nero. I even uninstalled DVD shrink too and and started all over from scratch. Does DVD Shrink not work with any versions of Nero past Nero 6? I have windows vista and can't find a free version of nero 6 that is compatible with vista (I'm guessing there are none, since it is an old version and would probably need upgrades to work with Vista if it can). (Sorry, I'm going the cheap route here and am trying to do this all for free. I am not opposed to buying some decent burning software, even nero, if it is not too terribly expensive).
So, in summary, my question is:
1) Does DVD Shrink 3.2 not work with Nero Burn lite
2) Does it work with newer versions of Nero?
3) What other EASY (remember new to this, but willing to spend some money fi not crazy expensive). I love DVD Shrink and would prefer to use this in conjunction with burning software. I'm still not real clear on creating iso files and how to use a burn program to get a movie disc out of that.
Thanks all!

Thanks attar. If I want to use Nero instead of ImgBurn, how can redirect it to the proper path, so that DVD Shrink will recognize it? I can reinstall, etc. As long as I have directions on how to do it. ~ GPA

Hmmm. I seem to be labelled a newbie. (Which I am as I am new to site.) Who put that in there I wonder, and how much eye-rolling will that cause when I ask questions (LOL).

It goes away after a few posts.
It wasn't mentioned that you could still use Nero, it just isn't automatic. You have to save the output of DvdShrink the open Nero and set it to burn, though using ImgBurn automatically is the way to go IMHO.

Agreed! I got it to work with ImgBurn (thank you attar). Trying to get it to work with Nero had seriously been ticking me off. But this way is easy peasy. When I popped in the newly minted DVD copy, it was like xmas morning all over again. Thanks for letting me know how to work it with Nero, though!

Some people like only using a few programs, some people like using many. Just letting you know you have options, some easier than others.
