DVD Shrink dropping files - help appreciated (Solved)

I'm running DVD Shrink 3.2 under Windows XP Pro (SP3).

I'm trying to burn a backup DVD from saved VOB (etc) files but I'm running into a problem with DVD Shrink that I've not encountered before.

Just before the burning stage, I got an error message. I didn't note it exactly, but from memory it was: "relocation of files failed... original file VTS_07_0-VOB missing".

It also said that the files had been saved in the temp directory I set up for the purpose, so I compared the contents of that directory with the original list of files. I found that there were six in all which were not there (I didn't deselect anything in DVDShrink).

When I'd started the process, DVD Shrink had given me a message, "The DVD appears to be RCE protected" and asked me to specify the region, which I did. Is this making a difference? I've not had to do that before.

Why is DVD Shrink not handling these files? Is there a way round the problem?

I've now gone through the process again and discovered that the message referred to "re-allocation" not "relocation". Using the former as a search term, I've found other discussions of the problem and possible solutions, both here and elsewhere, and have successfuly burned the backup DVD.
