DVD shrink no sound - camcorder not movies

Hello,
I used Roxio "Copy & Convert" to convert a video recording from a Sony camcorder DVD-R (2 inch diameter disc) to VOB and associated files. The files were converted successfully into one folder. Then I used DVD shrink to make back-up. Set preferences to AC3 (also all types). Noticed while previewing there was video but no sound. I did back-up and burn to DVD Decrypter anyway. Was able to play back on DVD player but no sound. Also tried all available options under Direct X renderer, and still no sound.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Just wanted to add, i can play the VOB file in Windows Media Player and there is audio and also the same with Sony PS3.

Dvd Flick to Convert
Imgburn To Burn to Disc.

Dvd Flick Comes Packaged with Imgburn. Both are Freeware. No Need for Shrink.

Thanks for the response Berryone. Downloaded DVD Flick and when I tried to "Add Title" and specify the optical drive containing the Sony camcorder mini dvd, an error message saying "E: is not accessible, incorrect function". Thus I tried to use the VOB file converted by Roxio "Copy & Convert", the VOB file showed up with the aspect ratio distorted. The original is 4:3, but this imported VOB file came out compressed and elongated. What am i doing wrong?

Try 'Edit Title' > 'Video sources' > 'Pixel aspect ratio'
