I have used Shrink for many years now almost 95% successful. Since the beginning of the year, I have had nothing but problems in trying to back up my DVD's. It started with The Proposal, and then Star Trek and UP and Julie and Julia. First of all it times out on all of these in about 10 seconds. I have tried to use Decrypter and that did not work. I have a program called DVD Cloner, which does copy of the movie to usually about an 8+ GB file. I have tried running Shrink on that file and it goes through the entire first process and generally now shows at lest 3 - 12 copies of the actual movie. I have tried doing a Re-Author but about 70% of the way through, I get an error message stating "there is not enough memory to complete the copy"
I save all my back ups first to a disk drive dedicated to this activity and there are over 500GB of free disk space. I do not understand the "Out of Memory" error.
Is there anyone experiencing the same problem or is there another program that might work. DVD Cloner does NOT.

"Out of memory" refers to RAM and not disk space. Usually this pops up with copy protected discs so try DVD Fab to rip the disc first.

I would love to read the manual, but the only information I have on Shrink is the Help Menu. And I do not consider myself a "moron." Thank You

DVD Shrink's decrypting algorithms haven't been updated in ages, the development was ceased years ago. It still work great to transcode/shrink the DVDs, but they first require to be ripped with an up-to-date decrypter, like DVDFab.
Piss me off, and I Will ignore You!

Thank you for the info. I wish there was a manual.
Like I said I have been having great success for many years, and i will try the DVD Fab for some of the newer DVD's that added addtional protection.
Thanks

2 ->
3 -> Home of MultiShrink: a small tool to enable DVD Shrink batch processing
4 -> Offizieller Uebersetzer von DVD Shrink deutsch
So?
MultiMakeMKV: batch processing for MakeMKV (Win)
MultiShrink: batch processing for DVD Shrink
